My Weight Journey Analysis

At the end of 2018, I had reached my highest ever weight of 262.2lbs and decided that I needed to make a change. For the next 7 months I dedicated every waking hour to bettering my health and nutrition. I pulled the most popular PPL Program off of Reddit for strength training as well as practiced the Intermittent Fasting Protocol in conjunction with a Low-Carb/Keto diet. I saw results immediately with losing 20lbs in the very first month of January 2019. What followed was a slow but steady decline in my weight all the way up to September 2019 where I reached my lowest bodyweight ever of 195.4lbs.

In those 9 months of dieting and lifting, I fell in love with going to the gym. I wasn't just going to drive my weight down but I loved seeing my maxes go up! That's when I decided to start training as a Powerlifter. For those who don't know what Powerlifting is. Powerlifting is a individual sport where one tries to lift the most weight possible in Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift. I had planned to do my first Powerlifting meet in June 2020 but it was cancelled do to COVID-19. I just finished my actual first meet this past October 31st 2021, which is where I input my numbers for my current maxes. I am looking forward to doing 2 more meets in 2022 and to keep lifting more and more!

I wanted to create this dashboard in order for me to quantify my journey. I pulled the weight statistics from MyFitnessPal as well as from the app I use to weigh myself daily Renpho. I thought this would be the perfect way to summarize my past 3 years on this journey. Quick Note: I calculated my hours spent working out on the basis that I worked out 6 days/week for approximately 2 hours/day. Please check it out below!

Here is a couple more data analysis' I did separately that also shows my weight loss and lifting progress respectively.
